5 years ago, we were focused in two clients that concentrate the 85% of our business. That was so risky for us in the time. So, we decided to expand our business to more clients, and we considered a new strategy using the best platform to reach them. We did an investigation between all the platforms and we consider Alibaba.com as the best for us.

In our first year we were a free member, and we had good results. We get some free clients but our case of products was limited.

Checking out results and looking for showing more products we decided upgrade to gold member and our results getting inquiries and clients increase several times.

Also the quality on clients. Been a gold member generates more confidence in our clients.

Also we have important information about markets and other tools that helps us to take best decisions.

Now we are in our fourth year and we think that the investment is smaller than results and we feel everyday counting the new inquiries and the clients that are working with us since 4 years ago.

Looking the statistics in our Alibaba.com’s tools we are able to check which our best viewed products are, so we can upload similar new products trying to get more interest in our products. Also, we use every new market tools that Alibaba.com is always bringing us.

We received from 1 to 3 inquiries per day, 50 inquiries per month. We have send our products mainly to the United States, but have sent garments to South Africa, Australia, Sweden, British Virgin Islands, and other 8 countries.

We think we got orders of high quality pima cotton of 8,000 pieces per month. 22,000 pieces per year in just one client.

Before Alibaba.com the concentrate our capability in two clients (85%) and some other small clients to complete the year. Now we have more than 10 constant clients in the year and some small clients.

The most important skills that we have improved is negotiation, because we do every day with the different meetings that we have online. Also we can know the trends in different markets.
